High-speed sortation & transportation systems

Versatile, high-throughput sortation systems

Overview

Inteq’s sortation and transport systems are designed to help you move goods efficiently, accurately, and at speed, even during peak demand. By combining intelligent automation with our hardware-agnostic Inteq Warehousing Software (IWS), we streamline the flow of products through your warehouse and reduce reliance on manual labour. From diverting small parcels to handling high-weight cartons, our scalable solutions offer real-time control and seamless integration across your entire operation. We’ll help you reduce bottlenecks, boost capacity, and improve service performance across the board, whether you’re managing high-volume e-commerce fulfilment or complex order consolidation.

Sortation & transportation

Applications

Our sortation and transport technologies are tailored to warehouse environments that need precise routing and efficient product flow at scale.

  • Moving goods from inbound areas to bulk storage.
  • Directing products to zone picking or packing stations.
  • Sorting packed orders for outbound dispatch.
  • Managing automated returns workflows.
  • Supporting multi-channel fulfilment with advanced sortation logic.

With options ranging from compact entry-level systems to ultra-high-speed sorters capable of handling 500 items per minute, we match technology to your exact operational needs.

Our solutions

Robotic sorters

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) offer flexible, scalable sorting with minimal infrastructure. AMRs are ideal for navigating complex layouts and transporting parcels and products to precise locations while reducing manual movement. Integrated with IWS, they offer rapid deployment and a low CapEx route to automation, delivering ROI in under three years.

Tilt tray sorters

Compact and high-performing, tilt tray sorters gently discharge items into assigned chutes, making them ideal for medium to high throughput operations. Their versatility allows for sorting cartons, totes, and polybags with high accuracy in limited space.

Pop-up wheel diverter

For precise 90-degree diversion, pop-up wheels offer a gentle, low-speed option that handles items up to 25kg. Ideal for lightweight or fragile goods, this solution is well-suited to operations where careful handling is critical.

Push tray sorters

Using a mechanical bar to push items into designated chutes, push tray sorters provide a straightforward, reliable method for sorting cartons and totes at medium speeds. A strong alternative where tilt or cross-belt sorters aren’t the right fit.

Cross belt sorters

These high-speed systems use independent belts to carry and accurately discharge items, offering unmatched throughput for busy e-commerce and parcel handling environments. Available in linear or loop configurations, they support a wide variety of product types.

Sliding shoe sorters

Using a series of sliding shoes to push products gently to their destinations, this high-speed solution handles varied product shapes and sizes with precision. It’s ideal for operations managing fragile, irregular, or mixed goods at volume.

Bombay sorters

Also known as split tray sorters, these systems are built for handling lightweight items at speed and are a popular choice in e-commerce and fashion fulfilment. Items are dropped into bins or bags with precise control, enabling fast and efficient dispatch.

Roller conveyors

Driven by bands, belts or chains, roller conveyors provide smooth transport for heavy loads. Frequently integrated with sortation systems, they’re ideal for managing flow across multiple warehouse zones.

Belt conveyors

Designed for consistent, gentle handling over long distances, belt conveyors are suitable for a wide range of product sizes and weights. Often used to connect different processes across the warehouse.

Gravity conveyors

A low-cost, passive option using gravity to move goods. Ideal for buffering, accumulation, or zones with minimal intervention.

Zero line pressure

These systems maintain gaps between items, eliminating contact and reducing the risk of damage. These are perfect for high-value or delicate products needing careful movement through the operation.

Spiral conveyors

Used to move goods between floors or mezzanines, spiral conveyors offer vertical transport that saves floor space and improves connectivity across multi-level warehouses.

Since dealing with the Inteq project team for the Stanton / Under Armour implementation I have been impressed with the level of service, knowledge and can-do attitude. These qualities have continued within the residency solution whereby the site is supported in a number of key measures such as a detailed PPM schedule, training staff on equipment, stores / spares management and building support. The weekly review meetings with the team ensure everything is effectively managed within agreed time frames.

In the last 18 months I have seen Inteq grow from strength to strength, I was part of the initial process where we recruited Greenstone to support with the servicing and repairs of our Conveyer and box machines, they have grown in that time from suppling engineers to helping us optimise the equipment, expand the area and incorporate changes to layout and process. With the team now fully established at the SDC, I feel we are is such a better situation, with limited downtime, planned preventative maintenance and increased productivity. The Inteq team have done a great job, and I am extremely happy with the service that they have provided.
