Warehouse control systems

Advanced automation control systems

Overview

Inteq’s control solutions are the backbone of modern warehouse automation. Developed in-house in the UK, our Inteq Controls System (ICS) works seamlessly with our Inteq Warehousing Software (IWS) to orchestrate every element of your material handling environment, from conveyors and robots to third-party systems like carton erectors and auto baggers.

The ICS is a modular, field-based solution designed for plug-and-play deployment. It’s hardware-agnostic and fully scalable, giving you real-time visibility and intelligent control across every stage of your operation. By connecting all mechanical, digital, and operational elements under one system, we deliver a robust, intelligent architecture that improves uptime, throughput, and overall system performance, without locking you into a single vendor ecosystem.

Applications

Inteq’s control solutions are ideal for warehouses and fulfilment centres looking to streamline automation, reduce manual intervention, and gain better operational visibility.

  • Sites managing AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, sortation, and robotics under one control platform
  • High-volume operations with variable product types and order profiles
  • Facilities investing in scalable, hardware-agnostic automation
  • Warehouses seeking live KPI tracking and system health diagnostics
  • Operations integrating ERP, e-commerce, and enterprise systems into warehouse processes

Our solutions

Controls Hardware Solutions

Inteq’s hardware offering is engineered for reliability and flexibility. Our modular control panels, PLCs, sensors and actuators are designed for rapid deployment and easy servicing. Built with scalability in mind, each component is networked for real-time diagnostics and performance tracking, helping you monitor machine health and identify issues before they cause disruption. Our control hardware ensures consistent, intelligent communication between equipment and software.

Controls Software Solutions

The Inteq Warehousing Software (IWS) forms the core of our system architecture. It combines warehouse management (WMS), execution (WES), and control (WCS) into one agile, configurable platform. IWS enables intelligent routing, task execution, and live monitoring of all warehouse activities, from label printing and picking to system-wide diagnostics. It supports a wide range of devices and technologies, allowing businesses to automate without being tied to a specific vendor. Features like AI-driven GOALS algorithms and dynamic workflow control help maximise throughput, minimise downtime, and adapt to operational demands in real time.

Analytic Solutions

Inteq’s analytics tools provide real-time visibility across every layer of your warehouse. From system-level KPIs to component health monitoring, our dashboards help managers make proactive decisions. Predictive analytics identify trends, flag anomalies, and enable maintenance planning before faults occur. Custom alerts and health scores can be configured to notify key personnel, ensuring continuous improvement and helping protect uptime, accuracy, and customer service performance.

Since dealing with the Inteq project team for the Stanton / Under Armour implementation I have been impressed with the level of service, knowledge and can-do attitude. These qualities have continued within the residency solution whereby the site is supported in a number of key measures such as a detailed PPM schedule, training staff on equipment, stores / spares management and building support. The weekly review meetings with the team ensure everything is effectively managed within agreed time frames.

In the last 18 months I have seen Inteq grow from strength to strength, I was part of the initial process where we recruited Greenstone to support with the servicing and repairs of our Conveyer and box machines, they have grown in that time from suppling engineers to helping us optimise the equipment, expand the area and incorporate changes to layout and process. With the team now fully established at the SDC, I feel we are is such a better situation, with limited downtime, planned preventative maintenance and increased productivity. The Inteq team have done a great job, and I am extremely happy with the service that they have provided.
